I have attached a copy of the report which accompanied our recent re-assessment to hold the Inclusion Quality Mark in December 2015. The school has held IQM status for 9 years now and while we don't chase kitemarks for the sake of it, we do consider this a very important statement about the work of the school. We think inclusivity is at the heart of our work in Southlands and at the centre of our role within North Tyneside. I hope you will find time to take a look at this report as I think it captures very well the comprehensive manner in which all staff in the school hold inclusion as an essential principle and demonstrate this in their work with our students. Thanks to Ms O' Malley who co-ordinated the re-assessment process.
Mr D. J. Erskine
